     17A-2-223.   Power of board to incur indebtedness.
     (1) For any of the purposes of this part and subject to Subsections (2) and (3), the board of trustees of a cemetery maintenance district may incur an indebtedness not exceeding in the aggregate a sum equal to .0001 per dollar of taxable value of taxable property within the district.
     (2) A board of trustees of a cemetery maintenance district may not issue bonds of the district payable in whole or in part from property taxes unless the proposed bond issuance is approved by a majority of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose as provided in Title 11, Chapter 14, Local Government Bonding Act.
     (3) The issuance of notes or bonds by the board of trustees of a cemetery maintenance district is governed by Title 11, Chapter 14, Local Government Bonding Act.
