     17A-2-216.   Body politic and corporate -- Exercise of powers -- Corporate name.
     Every cemetery maintenance district organized as provided by law is a body politic and corporate and as such has the power specified in this part. Its powers can be exercised only by the cemetery board or by agents and officers acting under their authority or authority of law. The name of the district designated in the order of the county legislative body declaring the territory duly organized as a cemetery maintenance district shall be the corporate name of such district and it must be known and designated thereby in all actions and proceedings touching its corporate rights, property, and duties.
