17A-1-434. District clerk -- Meetings and records.The governing body of the district shall appoint a district clerk. Where required, the clerk may be chosen from among the members of the governing board, except the chairman of the board. The district clerk or other appointed person shall attend the meetings and keep a record of the proceedings of the governing body.
