     16-10a-1508.   Registered office and registered agent of foreign corporation.
     (1) Each foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state must continuously maintain in this state:
     (a) a registered office; and
     (b) a registered agent, who must be:
     (i) an individual who resides in this state and whose business office is identical with the registered office;
     (ii) a domestic corporation or domestic nonprofit corporation whose business office is identical with the registered office; or
     (iii) a foreign corporation or foreign nonprofit corporation authorized to transact business in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office.
     (2) A foreign corporation may not serve as its own registered agent.
