2006 Utah Code - 16-10a-501 — Registered office and registered agent.
16-10a-501. Registered office and registered agent.(1) Each corporation must continuously maintain in this state:
(a) a registered office; and
(b) a registered agent. The registered agent shall be:
(i) an individual who resides in this state and whose business office is identical with the registered office;
(ii) a domestic corporation or domestic not-for-profit corporation whose business office is identical with the registered office;
(iii) a foreign corporation or foreign not-for-profit corporation authorized to transact business in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office; or
(iv) a domestic limited liability company or foreign limited liability company authorized to transact business in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office.
(2) A corporation may not serve as its own registered agent.
