     16-6a-1508.   Registered office and registered agent of foreign nonprofit corporation.
     (1) Each foreign nonprofit corporation authorized to conduct affairs in this state shall continuously maintain in this state:
     (a) a registered office; and
     (b) a registered agent, who shall be:
     (i) an individual:
     (A) who resides in this state; and
     (B) whose business office is identical with the registered office;
     (ii) a domestic corporation or domestic nonprofit corporation whose business office is identical with the registered office;
     (iii) a foreign corporation or foreign nonprofit corporation:
     (A) authorized to conduct affairs in this state; and
     (B) whose business office is identical with the registered office; or
     (iv) a domestic limited liability company or foreign limited liability company:
     (A) authorized to conduct affairs in this state; and
     (B) whose business office is identical with the registered office.
     (2) A foreign nonprofit corporation may not serve as its own registered agent.
