2006 Utah Code - 10-3-811 — Members of the governing body may be appointed to administration in a city of the third, fourth, or fifth class or a town.
10-3-811. Members of the governing body may be appointed to administration in a city of the third, fourth, or fifth class or a town.The mayor of any city of the third, fourth, or fifth class or the mayor of any town may, with the advice and consent of the majority of the governing body, assign or appoint any member or members of the governing body to administer one or more departments of the municipality and shall by ordinance provide the salary for the administrator or administrators.
