     10-3-810.   Additional powers and duties of elected officials in a city of the third, fourth, or fifth class or a town.
     A city of the third, fourth, or fifth class or a town may by resolution prescribe additional duties, powers, and responsibilities for any elected or appointed official which are not prohibited by any specific statute, except that the mayor may not serve as recorder and neither the mayor nor the recorder may serve as treasurer. A justice court judge may not hold any other municipal office or position of employment with the municipality.
