Section 956, act Aug. 13, 1946, ch. 957, title V, §561, 60 Stat. 1011, related to detail of military and naval personnel as inspectors or supervisors of buildings, or as couriers. See section 713 of Title 10, Armed Forces. Section 957, act Aug. 13, 1946, ch. 957, title V, §562, 60 Stat. 1011, authorized the Secretary of the Navy to assign enlisted men of the Navy and Marine Corps to serve as custodians at an embassy, legation, or consulate.
