| §523. Requisitions | ||||||
|
The Attorney General shall sign all requisitions for the advance or payment of moneys appropriated for the Department of Justice, out of the Treasury, subject to the same control as is exercised on like estimates or accounts by the Government Accountability Office. |

The words "General Accounting Office" are substituted for "First Auditor or First Comptroller of the Treasury" on authority of the Act of June 10, 1921, ch. 18, §304, 42 Stat. 24. AMENDMENTS2004—Pub. L. 108–271 substituted "Government Accountability Office" for "General Accounting Office". |
