These rules may be known and cited as the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure.

SHORT TITLE OF 1975 AMENDMENTPub. L. 94–64, §1, July 31, 1975, 89 Stat. 370, provided: "That this Act [amending rules 4, 9, 11, 12, 12.1, 12.2, 15, 16, 17, 20, 32 and 43 of these rules and enacting provisions set out as a note under rule 4] may be cited as the 'Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure Amendments Act of 1975'."
