Prohibition Against Members of the Armed Forces Participating in Criminal Street GangsPub. L. 110–181, div. A, title V, §544, Jan. 28, 2008, 122 Stat. 116, provided that: “The Secretary of Defense shall prescribe regulations to prohibit the active participation by members of the Armed Forces in a criminal street gang.”
