§169j–4. Operations of Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday Commission (a) Meetings
The Commission shall first meet within 30 days after August 27, 1984. At this first meeting the Commission shall elect a chairperson from among its members and shall meet thereafter at the call of the chairperson.
(b) DonationsThe Commission may encourage the participation of, and accept, use, and dispose of donations of money, property, and personal services from, individuals and public and private organizations to assist the Commission in carrying out its responsibilities under this Act.
