§72c. House committee reports on employed personnel; period covered; publication

Every committee serving the House of Representatives shall report to the Clerk of the House within fifteen days after December 31 and June 30 of each year the name, profession, and total salary of each person employed by such committee or any subcommittee thereof during the period covered by such report, and shall make an accounting of funds made available to and expended by such committee or subcommittee during such period, and such information when reported shall be published in the Congressional Record. The first such report shall cover the period beginning on January 3, 1947, and ending on June 30, 1947, and succeeding reports shall cover the six months’ period ending on the preceding December 31 or June 30, as the case may be. The information required to be reported and published shall be in lieu of the information required to be reported and published under section 72b–1 of this title, in the case of committees of the House and their subcommittees.
