Sec. 146.018. OFFENSE; CRIMINAL PENALTY. (a) A person commits an offense if the person violates this chapter or a rule adopted under this chapter.

(b) An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.

(c) Each day of violation constitutes a separate offense.
