§ 66-24-106. Marriage Contracts Settling Property on Wife

- Marriage contracts or agreements in which the wife's property, before marriage, is settled on her or a trustee for her use, shall be registered in the county where the husband resides at the time of marriage, and in every county in the state to which he may remove with the property; and if the contract or agreement be made without the limits of the state, they shall be registered in every county in the state to which the husband and wife removed with the property.
- In case of realty, registration shall be also in the county where it lies.
