§ 55-4-267. Tennessee Woman Veteran
Universal Citation: TN Code § 55-4-267 (2020)
- A distinctive license plate is authorized for any woman who is a veteran, if the woman is currently a resident of this state and is otherwise qualified to register and license a motor vehicle pursuant to this title.
- The registration plates shall bear the legend “Tennessee Woman Veteran.”
- The registration plate shall be issued upon payment of the regular registration fee pursuant to this chapter and the additional fee prescribed by § 55-4-204(c)(1), and submission of information in accordance with subsection (d).
- For issuance of a license plate pursuant to this section, all applications shall contain information that the commissioner requires proving the eligibility of the applicant as a woman who received an honorable discharge as a member of the armed services, as defined in § 49-4-928.
