- This section shall be known and may be cited as the “Archival Protection Act of 2009.”
- Upon determination to close a public school, the LEA is urged to employ or contract with a professional archivist to review all personal property contained in the school buildings for historic significance. The LEA is encouraged to preserve appropriately all personal property of the school deemed historically significant. The property may be made available for display at any public institution in the discretion of the LEA.
