§ 33-6-612. Failure to Appear Where No Affidavit by Qualified Mental Health Professional
Universal Citation: TN Code § 33-6-612 (2020)
IF
- the qualified mental health professional has not filed an affidavit with the court regarding the person with mental illness or serious emotional disturbance, AND
- the person does not respond to the order to appear,
THEN
- the court shall order the person taken into custody, AND
- the officer who serves the order on the person shall take the person to the qualified mental health professional or the professional's appointed substitute.
