§ 29-26-205. Exceptions
Universal Citation: TN Code § 29-26-205 (2020)
A therapist does not violate §29-26-204 if the patient is:
- The spouse of the therapist and was married to the therapist prior to the establishment of the therapist-patient relationship; or
- The sexual relationship began prior to the establishment of the therapist-patient relationship.
