§ 2-2-203. Prohibited Acts by Registering Agencies — Penalty
Universal Citation: TN Code § 2-2-203 (2020)
- A person who provides service described in § 2-2-202 shall not:
- Seek to influence an applicant's political preference or party registration;
- Display any such political preference or party allegiance; or
- Make any statement to an applicant or take any action, the purpose or effect of which is to discourage the applicant from registering to vote.
- A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
