§ 39-17-606. Signage.

(a) Each state lottery retailer shall display, in a prominent place at the location where the retailer sells lottery tickets or shares, a sign, at least seventeen inches (17″) high and twenty-two inches (22″) wide, stating:
- ATTENTION: STATE LAW STRICTLY PROHIBITS THE SALE OF LOTTERY TICKETS TO PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS; PROOF OF AGE MAY BE REQUIRED FOR PURCHASE. * * * ATENCION: POR LEY DEL ESTADO DE TENNESSEE ES ESTRICTAMENTE PROHIBIDO VENDER BOLETAS DE LOTERIA A PERSONAS MENORES DE DIECIOCHO AÑOS; PRUEBA DE EDAD PUEDE SER REQUERIDA PARA COMPRARLAS.
(b) A violation of this section is a Class C misdemeanor.
