§ 8-1-101 - Date governor's oath of office taken.

The governor shall take the oath of office on the first Saturday following the fourteenth day of January next following the governor's election, after the commencement of the organizational session of the general assembly as established by article II, ยง 8 of the Constitution of Tennessee.
