§ 49-6-2304 - Review of compliance with laws and regulations -- Report to general assembly.
(a) Within thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the school year, the commissioner shall review each plan and subsequent modifications submitted under ยง 49-6-2303(7) and determine whether the plan complies with this part.
(b) The commissioner shall investigate and promptly act upon any allegation of noncompliance within this part or the rules and regulations established under this part.
(c) In January of each year, the commissioner shall make a report to the education committees of the senate and the house of representatives, detailing for each individual school whether that school participates in the programs required under this part, if not, the reason for not participating and, if a waiver was granted, the reason for the waiver, along with the number and percentage of student participation for each school participating.
