68-114-105. Tramways.

The ski area operator shall have the primary responsibility for the design, construction, maintenance, and inspection of any passenger tramway. All passenger tramways shall be designed, constructed, and maintained in accordance with standards of the American National Standards Institute section B 77.1 1973 and supplements to the standards. The operation of a passenger tramway shall be deemed not to be the operation of a common carrier.
