63-8-123. Regulation of laboratory practices of optometrists.
The commissioner of health has the authority to regulate the laboratory practices of optometrists to ensure that such practices are in full compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA), compiled in 42 U.S.C. § 263a.
