44-12-110. Charters for markets in operation July 1, 1967.

(a)  The owner of any public livestock market operated and conducted as such on July 1, 1967, shall be issued a charter for the operation of the market, in accordance with the record of the department of agriculture.

(b)  Each charter issued under this chapter is personal to the holder, and the facilities thereby may not be transferred to another place or legal entity without meeting the requirements of this chapter.
