§ 12-28-8 Chair_Duties_Meetings.

12-28-8. Chair--Duties--Meetings. The members of the commission shall select a chair by majority vote for each calendar year. The chair shall have the authority to call meetings of the commission, sign documents on behalf of the commission, and take other administrative actions necessary to carry out the decisions of the commission made by majority vote. The chair may delegate duties as chair to another member of the commission. Any decision or action by the chair may be overruled by majority vote of the members. If the Chair does not call a meeting, a meeting of the commission may be called by two or more members.
