34A-11-4. Functions of department and board.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources shall perform all the functions of the former public health advisory committee, the former state health officer, and the Department of Health with respect to the control of hazardous waste management pursuant to this chapter. However, the Board of Minerals and Environment shall perform any quasi-legislative, quasi-judicial, advisory, and special budgetary functions.
