37-21-15. Inspection of packages offered for sale. The director of commercial inspection and licensing shall have the power to, and shall, from time to time, weigh or measure and inspect packages or amounts of commodities of whatsoever kind kept for the purpose of sale, offered or exposed for sale, sold, or in the process of delivery, in order to determine whether the same contain the amounts represented, and whether they be offered for sale or sold in a manner in accordance with law.
