38-7A-3. Certification procedures. The State Conservation Commission shall establish procedures whereby a shelterbelt can be certified. Each conservation district shall use the guidelines established pursuant to § 38-7A-2 when an application for certification is submitted by a landowner. On or before October first of each year, the conservation district shall provide to the State Conservation Commission the eligibility status of each application submitted to the district.
