24-5-3. Clothing and money furnished on discharge--Transportation--Revocation of parole as forfeiture. Every inmate, when discharged from the penitentiary, whether by parole, suspended sentence, or final discharge, shall be provided with suitable clothing, a sum of money to be determined by the secretary of corrections, and transportation to the place where the inmate received sentence. Any inmate who has received such money and transportation, and who is returned to the penitentiary upon revocation of parole or suspended sentence, is not eligible to receive such payment or transportation upon final discharge.
