§1-40-42 Annual report on source reduction and recycling program--Contents--Biennial recommendations on resource recovery and recycling program.
1-40-42. Annual report on source reduction and recycling program--Contents--Biennial recommendations on resource recovery and recycling program. By January first of each year, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources shall submit a report to the Governor and to the Legislature summarizing all of the following subjects concerning the source reduction and recycling program under §§ 1-40-40 and 1-40-41:
(1) Past activities of the program;
(2) Accomplishments of the program; and
(3) Proposed goals of the program for the state agencies and local governmental units.
By July first of each even-numbered year, each agency and participating local governmental unit shall submit recommendations to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources regarding the operation of the resource recovery and recycling program under §§ 1-40-40 and 1-40-41.
