Section 9-55-19 - Procedure for abolishment of district.
9-55-19. Procedure for abolishment of district. The governing body may, by ordinance, abolish a district after a hearing thereon. The governing body shall adopt a resolution of intent to abolish the area at least thirty days prior to the hearing required by this section. The resolution shall give the time and place of the hearing. Notice of the hearing shall be given as provided in § 9-55-13.Source: SL 1986, ch 81, § 19; SL 1990, ch 68, § 8.
