Section 31-11-4 - Employment of engineer by superintendent.
31-11-4. Employment of engineer by superintendent. In cases where the county superintendent of highways is not an engineer he shall have power and authority with the approval of the county commissioners to employ an engineer whenever necessary to survey and to do other engineering work.Source: SL 1919, ch 333, § 19; SDC 1939, § 28.0305; SL 1953, ch 145.
