     62-9-13.   Who may file claim--When claim must be filed. Any person who has suffered an occupational hearing loss after July 1, 1974, and who has been removed from the injurious exposure for more than six months at July 1, 1986 must file a claim for compensation with the employer within two years of July 1, 1986. Claims not filed within this period are forever barred.
