Section 7-7-290. Designation of voting precincts in Greenwood County.

(A) In Greenwood County there are the following voting precincts:

Angel Oaks Crossing

Ashley River Run

Bee's Ferry

Fairhope Ferry

Graham's Glen

Grandiflora Glen

Glendale

Harris

Hope's Ferry

Laco

Livi's Knoll

Loblolly Pines

Ninety Six

Ninety Six Mill

Pebble Stone Way

Ware Shoals

Hodges

Cokesbury

Coronaca

Greenwood High

Georgetown

Sandridge

Callison

Bradley

Troy

Epworth

New Market

Airport

(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) are as shown on the official map designated as document P-47-19A on file with the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office and as shown on copies provided to the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County. The official map may not be changed except by act of the General Assembly.

(C) The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County shall designate the polling places of each precinct.

Effect of Amendment

2018 Act No. 136, Section 1, in (A), inserted "Ashley River Run", "Bee's Ferry", "Fairhope Ferry", "Grandiflora Glen", "Hope's Ferry", "Livi's Knoll", "Loblolly Pines", "Pebble Stone Way", and deleted "Greenwood No. 1", "Greenwood No. 2", "Greenwood No. 3", "Greenwood No. 4", "Greenwood No. 5", "Greenwood No. 6", "Greenwood No. 7", and "Greenwood No. 8"; and in (B), substituted "P-47-18" for "P-47-17".

2019 Act No. 8, Section 1, in (B), in the first sentence, substituted "document P-47-19" for "document P-47-18".

2019 Act No. 81, Section 1, in (B), in the first sentence, substituted "document P-47-19A" for "document P-47-18".
