Section 37-5-102. Scope.

Universal Citation: SC Code § 37-5-102 (2021)

This part applies to actions or other proceedings to enforce rights arising from consumer credit sales, consumer leases, consumer loans, and consumer rental-purchase agreements; and, in addition, to extortionate extensions of credit (Section 37-5-107) and other transactions governed by this title.

Effect of Amendment

2016 Act No. 244, Section 7, inserted "and other transactions governed by this title".
