Title 19 - Evidence
CHAPTER 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS
Section 19-1-30. Pleading shall not be evidence against accused.

Universal Citation: SC Code § 19-1-30 (2017)

No pleading can be used in a criminal prosecution against the defendant as a proof of a fact admitted or alleged in such pleading.
