§ 5-34-20. Transfer to inactive list - Reinstatement.

A nurse who does not intend to practice nursing during the two (2) year period, upon written request to the department, may have his or her name transferred to an inactive list and is not required to pay the renewal fee for as long as the inactive status is maintained. A licensee whose license has been transferred to the inactive list may apply for reactivation according to the rules established by the board. Upon satisfaction of the requirements for reinstatement, the department shall issue a renewal of license.
