§ 5-54-16 Penalty for misrepresentation.

No person who is not licensed as a physician assistant may use the title of "Physician Assistant" or hold himself or herself out as a physician assistant. Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be punished by a fine of not less than two hundred dollars ($200) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), nor more than one year imprisonment, or by both the fine and imprisonment.
