§ 42-8-10 Defaults in election returns. – The secretary of state shall, within thirty (30) days after any default in the return of voting machines and election returns, certify the default to the attorney general, and his or her certificate shall be prima facie evidence of the default, and the attorney general shall prosecute every person guilty thereof.
