Section 42-64-9.5 - Hearings.

§ 42-64-9.5 Hearings. – At all hearings held under the provisions of this chapter, the Rhode Island commerce corporation and its members shall have the right to administer oaths. All persons testifying at the hearings shall do so under oath and under penalty of perjury. The corporation shall have the right to issue subpoenas to compel the appearance of witnesses and/or the production of any books, records, or other documents. Any person may be represented by counsel at the hearing. The corporation may adjourn the hearings from time to time whenever the adjournment shall in its opinion, be necessary or desirable. The testimony adduced at the hearing shall be transcribed by a stenographer.
