§ 42-28.7-1 Disclosure of records. – Whenever the Rhode Island state police, or any city or town police or public safety department, or any other law enforcement agency in the state of Rhode Island (hereinafter collectively referred to as "law enforcement agency") engages in the practice of fingerprinting minors pursuant to any voluntary plan or program, or at the voluntary request of any minor's parents or guardian, the original, duplicate, and photocopy of the fingerprinting record shall be given to the minor's parents or guardian immediately upon completion of the fingerprinting process. The provisions of this section shall not be waived by any parent or guardian.
