§ 42-56-14 Buildings and grounds comprising institutions. – The buildings comprising the state prison, men's reformatory, reformatory for women, the county jail in the county of Providence, all of which are located in Cranston, and the grounds surrounding those buildings and any other buildings and grounds, wherever located, that shall be maintained for those purposes, are declared to be the adult correctional institutions of the state.
