CHAPTER 16-25 Education of Children Who are Deaf or Blind
§ 16-25-2 Supervision of beneficiaries – Reports to general assembly.


§ 16-25-2 Supervision of beneficiaries – Reports to general assembly. – The department of elementary and secondary education is invested with the duty and responsibility of supervising the education of all those beneficiaries, and no child appointed as provided in § 16-25-1 shall be withdrawn from any institution or school except with its consent, or the consent of the governor; and the department shall annually report its doings under this chapter to the general assembly, with any further information in relation to the several institutions at which these beneficiaries have been placed that may be deemed desirable.
