§ 46-15.3-8 - Notice of imposition of charge – Actions to contest validity.

SECTION 46-15.3-8

   § 46-15.3-8  Notice of imposition of charge – Actions to contest validity. – Notice of the imposition of the water quality protection charge shall be published once in a newspaper of general circulation in the state of Rhode Island at some time subsequent to the imposition of the water quality protection charge. Actions to contest the validity of the proceedings for the imposition of the water quality protection charge must be commenced within sixty (60) days after the date of the notice, and no action thereafter commenced shall raise any question concerning the validity of the proceedings and imposition of the water quality protection charge. After the expiration of the period of sixty (60) days, the validity of the proceedings and the imposition of the water quality protection charge shall be conclusively presumed.
