§ 44-3-23 - Narragansett – Tax exemptions in the town.

SECTION 44-3-23

   § 44-3-23  Narragansett – Tax exemptions in the town. – The town council of the town of Narragansett may, by ordinance, grant an exemption on real property located within the town and owned and occupied by any person sixty-five (65) years of age or older at the rate of one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per one thousand dollars ($1,000) of valuation. Each exemption to all other persons granted on property in the town of Narragansett is at the rate of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) of valuation for each exemption granted to a taxpayer.
