§ 43-3-3.2 - Use of appropriate gender language.

SECTION 43-3-3.2

   § 43-3-3.2  Use of appropriate gender language. – When the secretary of state produces a document to instruct the public on the tenets or purpose of a statute, he or she is authorized and empowered to change the language to make the unofficial reproduction of the statute gender-neutral; provided, that the reproduction shall clearly indicate that it is a revised reproduction of a statute by printing the word "unofficial" on its face in bold-letter type.
