§ 40.1-21-9 - Transfer of records.
SECTION 40.1-21-9
§ 40.1-21-9 Transfer of records. – Unless otherwise expressly provided by this chapter, the head of a department, division, or other administrative agency, whose functions, powers, and duties are assigned and transferred by this chapter to the department of mental health, retardation, and hospitals, shall deliver to the department of mental health, retardation, and hospitals all contracts, books, maps, plans, papers, records, and property of every description which is within the jurisdiction or control of the head of a department, division, or other administrative agency. The director of mental health, retardation, and hospitals is hereby authorized to take possession thereof.
